MinuteKeep for Claude
Keep your minute book current from a conversation.
Connect Claude to MinuteKeep and ask about your corporation's directors, shareholders, deadlines and annual records. Claude can also prepare a register change, such as a director resigning or a share transfer, for you to approve in MinuteKeep.
For federal, Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec corporations. MinuteKeep is record-keeping software and does not give legal advice.
Set up
Connect in about a minute.
- In Claude, open Settings, Connectors. Add MinuteKeep from the connector directory, or choose Add custom connector and paste
https://www.minutekeep.ca/connector/mcp. - Claude opens MinuteKeep's connect page. Sign in with your email and password, Google or Microsoft. New to MinuteKeep? Choose Create a free account on the same page.
- Choose whether Claude may also prepare changes, then select Allow access. Without that box, the connection is read-only.
- No corporation on your account yet? Claude gives you the link to add it in MinuteKeep, free.
To stop it, go to Settings, Security, Connected apps in MinuteKeep and select Disconnect, or remove the connector in Claude.
Try asking
What it does for you.
"Which years of annual minutes am I missing?"
Claude checks each fiscal year since incorporation against the documents in MinuteKeep and lists the gaps.
"Sarah Chen resigned as a director on March 31. Record it."
Claude prepares the departure and gives you a link. You approve it in MinuteKeep, and the minute book adds the dated directors' resolution accepting the resignation.
"My accountant wants our corporate records for year end."
Claude puts together the corporation's details, directors and officers, shareholdings, the year's changes and upcoming filings as one summary.
"What filings are due in the next three months?"
Claude lists the annual returns and other deadlines MinuteKeep tracks, soonest first.
Plans
Works on every plan.
Reading records and preparing register changes work on a free account. Drafting this year's annual resolutions needs MinuteKeep Pro for that corporation ($99 a year). If you ask for it on a free corporation, Claude gives you the upgrade link instead, and checkout happens in MinuteKeep.
You stay in control
Nothing changes until you approve it.
- Claude prepares each change and gives you a link. You review it in MinuteKeep, signed in, and approve it or not.
- Claude adds dated entries. It never edits or deletes existing entries or touches signed documents.
- You can undo an approved change for 7 days in Settings, Security.
What Claude can and cannot see
Claude can read corporation details (including corporation and business numbers and your accountant's name and firm), directors, officers, shareholdings and the titles and dates of documents MinuteKeep prepared.
It cannot see addresses, email addresses, ISC details, billing or the documents themselves, and it cannot file anything with a government registry.
Plugin
Skills that know the routine.
The MinuteKeep plugin for Claude adds three skills on top of the connector: catch up missing annual records, record a director change, and put together the accountant's year-end package. It appears in Claude's plugin directory once Anthropic's review lists it.
Good to know
Limits and privacy.
- Changes Claude can prepare: director and officer appointments and departures, share issuances and transfers, and this year's annual resolutions draft (Pro). Anything else is done in MinuteKeep.
- Completed years of annual records are caught up in MinuteKeep, where each year is reviewed before anything is made.
- A prepared change waits 24 hours for your approval, then expires.
- Team members connect with their own sign-in and see the account they belong to.
- How MinuteKeep handles information shared with connected assistants is in section 3.10 of the Privacy Policy.
